Showing full folder path of email search result is an efficient way for you to find the certain folder of the searched out emails. Have you ever felt frustrated that the Outlook only shows the containing folder for each matching search results? If there are folders with same names in your Outlook, it is time-consuming to find the specific folder one by one for a certain search result. Microsoft also explained that the Focused Inbox feature is basically for Office 365 subscribers and won't be available for Outlook perpetual license buyers. Microsoft indicated in a footnote that it still has "some work to complete" on the Windows desktop version of Focused Inbox.

Outlook 2016 for Windows users right now have no information about when Focused Inbox will be available, even for testing. The production-ready version will be available sometime "after First Release completes," Microsoft indicated.
